Finance Analysis Manager

About the role

Join Zurich Australia as a Finance Analysis Manager and play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful expense analysis and forward‑looking planning to support senior leaders and drive the company’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close and deliver accurate local and Group reporting for Zurich Australia entities.
• Provide expense reporting, analysis and insights to identify risks, opportunities and performance trends.
• Coordinate forecasting, budgeting and annual planning, including expense models.
• Partner with business leaders to prepare and present results, forecasts and plans.
• Track strategic initiatives, productivity measures and efficiency outcomes against targets.
• Improve finance processes by reducing manual activity and embedding automation, AI and digital tools.

Required profile

• CPA, CA or equivalent qualification with at least seven years post‑qualification experience, preferably in financial services.
• Minimum five years of experience in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting and management reporting.
• Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of the insurance industry.
• Advanced analytical ability to translate financial data into clear insights.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability.
• Experience using SAP general ledger systems.
