FIFO Security Officer - Reliever

About the role

MSS Security is recruiting an experienced Full-Time FIFO Security Officer for a client site in Weipa. The role suits someone who wants to step into supervisory duties when required, work a 7 on, 7 off day/night roster, and support other FIFO or South East Queensland sites when needed. The company funds required training, modules and certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct mobile and foot patrols, and handle lock-up/unlock and access control.
• Manage visitor inductions, access cards, and bag and vehicle searches.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to security incidents and unauthorised access.
• Provide camp security support and undertake supervisory duties when required.

Required profile

• Full Australian working rights.
• Current Queensland security licence (unarmed, crowd control and monitoring).
• Previous security experience and confidence undertaking supervisory duties.
• Full manual Queensland driver's licence.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Willingness to travel, cover other FIFO and South East Queensland sites, and stay on site for up to 14 days when required.
• Willingness to complete MSS-funded training and pass a client-specific medical.
