Field Service Technician – Hydraulics

About the role

Bosch Rexroth is looking for an experienced, trade‑qualified Field Service Technician to join its Brisbane team. You will be responsible for delivering on‑site service, fault finding, repairs and commissioning of hydraulic systems and equipment across industrial and mining environments.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to breakdown and service requests, performing fault diagnosis, repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Install, commission and test hydraulic systems and large‑scale projects on customer sites.
• Conduct system analysis, recommend maintenance or modernisation solutions, and identify spare‑part and service opportunities.
• Prepare accurate service reports, quotations and quality documentation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through professional service delivery.

Required profile

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Hydraulics or a related field.
• Proven experience in field service, repair and maintenance of hydraulic systems.
• Background working in mining, industrial or heavy‑equipment environments.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively in the field and adhere to safety and quality standards.
