About the role
Stowe Australia is seeking experienced Fibre Technicians to join its Melbourne office and support projects across Melbourne, Adelaide and the Northern Territory. The position operates on a 3‑week rotational schedule with travel and living costs fully covered.
Key responsibilities
- Perform fibre optic splicing, jointing and connector assembly.
- Terminate fibres, polish connectors and finish end faces.
- Test and fault‑find fibre optic networks.
- Prepare fibre, handle cables and haul them over long distances.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and safety on site.
- Communicate professionally with supervisors, project teams and clients.
Required profile
- Proven experience in fibre splicing, connector assembly and testing.
- Ability to work away from home on a rostered basis.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.
- Current White Card (Construction Induction) and valid driver’s licence.
- Right to work in Australia.
