Farm Manager for Large‑Scale Dairy Operation

About the role

Aurora Dairies is seeking an experienced Farm Manager to lead a 371‑ha dairy farm in Nambrok, Victoria. You will oversee 1,200 cows, manage staff, and ensure safe, sustainable operations.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Safety Management System across the property.
• Direct and develop farm staff to achieve production and animal welfare targets.
• Plan and monitor pasture quality, stock rotations, and feed budgets.
• Maintain water infrastructure, fencing, and all plant and equipment.
• Coordinate contractors for fertiliser, hay, and silage activities.
• Record stock, treatment, and feeding data accurately.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Dairy Farm Manager in a large‑scale operation.
• Strong people‑management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a regional team.
• Commitment to safety, animal welfare, and sustainable farming practices.
