Faculty Projects Officer

About the role

The Faculty Projects Officer will support the Director of Operations in delivering strategic initiatives across the Faculty of Business and Law at QUT. This hybrid role combines high‑level project coordination, stakeholder engagement and operational delivery to enhance education, research and student experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor a portfolio of Faculty‑wide projects, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are met.
• Provide governance support, prepare reports and conduct analysis for strategic decision‑making.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, including faculty staff, students, industry partners and external agencies.
• Develop implementation plans, track progress and support organisational improvement activities.
• Assist with the design and delivery of initiatives related to education, research, partnerships and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Degree qualification with relevant experience in project coordination, operational support or organisational improvement.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, timelines and stakeholder expectations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
