About the role
Randstad is recruiting a local Extrusion Operator for a manufacturing site in Bohle, near Townsville, working on an extrusion line. The position is full-time and involves 12-hour shifts on a rotating roster of four days on, four days off, four days on in the afternoon.
Key responsibilities
- Run the polyethylene extrusion process
- Operate the machine
- Drive a forklift
- Perform manual handling
- Record data
Required profile
- Able to work 12-hour shifts, including night shifts
- Mechanically minded
- Willingness to do manual work and 12-hour shifts
- Manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential
- Must pass a drug and alcohol test and a police criminal check
- High-risk forklift licence, driver's licence and own vehicle to reach the site
