Experienced Engineer – Drainage

About the role

We are seeking an Experienced Engineer specialized in Drainage to join our Perth team. The role involves delivering civil and drainage design solutions for major transport and infrastructure projects, including rail and metro programs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver drainage design for transport infrastructure projects, such as rail corridors and stations.
• Perform civil infrastructure design, hydrology and hydraulic analysis, modelling, and produce design documentation.
• Collaborate with geotechnical, rail, and structural teams to integrate civil and drainage outcomes.
• Support design development from concept through detailed design and construction phases.
• Contribute to technical reports, design documentation, and client submissions.
• Mentor junior engineers and support capability development.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience delivering drainage and flooding solutions for major infrastructure projects.
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in drainage design for infrastructure projects, preferably transport or rail.
• Proficiency with design tools such as 12D, Civil 3D, HEC‑RAS or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Australian drainage standards and design practice.
