Experienced Analyst – Accounting & Reporting Assurance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced analyst to join Deloitte’s Accounting and Reporting Assurance team in Canberra. The role offers exposure to complex financial management and accounting issues while working on a variety of client projects.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi‑disciplined team to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of clients’ finance functions.
• Support finance function transformation, accounting change, and financial management initiatives.
• Provide advice on complex transactions, specialised finance outsourcing, costing and Federal Government budget management.
• Deliver high‑quality audit and assurance services using the latest technology.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in finance, accounting, external audit or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Eligibility or enrolment in a CA/CPA (or equivalent) qualification.
• Strong communication, leadership, project management and multitasking abilities.
• Australian citizenship; ability to obtain a security clearance (advantageous).
