Exercise Physiologist - Mixed Caseload, Multidisciplinary Clinic

About the role

Proactive Health is hiring an Exercise Physiologist in Townsville, Queensland, for a genuine multidisciplinary clinic that works alongside physiotherapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists, dietitians and social workers. The role offers a mixed caseload across DVA, Medicare, NDIS, Home Care Packages, workers' compensation and private clients, with full-time or part-time availability.

Key responsibilities

• Run supervised exercise sessions, such as for a DVA veteran with cardiovascular disease
• Conduct initial assessments, such as for an NDIS participant
• Carry out home visits for aged care clients under a Home Care Package
• Provide Medicare EPC consultations, such as for a post-surgical client
• Collaborate with physiotherapy and occupational therapy colleagues on shared patients

Required profile

• ESSA accreditation (AEP) or eligibility
• Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology
• Current insurance or willingness to obtain it
• Police check and NDIS Worker Screening (current or willing to obtain)
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• New graduates are welcome; a structured graduate program and experienced mentors are provided
