Executive – Turnaround & Restructuring

About the role

KPMG’s national Turnaround and Restructuring team is expanding in Sydney and seeks an Executive to lead high‑impact engagements. You will work with under‑performing businesses to define the optimal path – whether fixing, selling, or exiting – and deliver rapid, outcome‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in advisory, restructuring, and formal insolvency projects across diverse industries.
• Apply data‑analytics, due‑diligence, financial analysis, cash‑flow modelling and report writing to diagnose issues and design integrated solutions.
• Provide scenario planning, going‑concern analysis and guidance on directors’ and CEOs’ duties, including safe‑harbour considerations.
• Collaborate with KPMG’s national Deal Advisory group on M&A, corporate finance, debt advisory and valuation matters.
• Build trusted relationships with banks, private credit providers, government agencies, law firms and senior client executives.
