Executive Recruitment Lead

About the role

The Executive Recruitment Lead will own the full lifecycle of senior‑level searches for ANZ, partnering directly with Group Executives and Talent & Culture colleagues. This role is pivotal in building a strong leadership pipeline that aligns with ANZ’s 2030 strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end executive search and selection for leadership roles across the bank.
• Advise senior stakeholders on sourcing strategies, candidate fit, market dynamics and executive hiring decisions.
• Develop and execute search strategies that balance business priorities, diversity objectives and future capability needs.
• Leverage external market intelligence, competitor insights and talent trends to inform recruitment and succession planning.
• Build and maintain proactive relationships with high‑calibre executive talent, creating pipelines for current and future needs.
• Influence complex decision‑making processes, navigating ambiguity and competing stakeholder perspectives to deliver timely hiring outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in executive recruitment or senior talent acquisition, preferably within financial services.
• Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills with senior executives.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to align talent acquisition with business priorities.
• Excellent analytical ability to interpret market data and talent trends.
• Self‑starter who can influence decisions in ambiguous environments.
• Exceptional communication and influencing capabilities.
