Executive Assistant to Chief Talent Officer

About the role

QBE Group is looking for an Executive Assistant to work directly with the Chief Talent Officer. This hybrid position supports a high‑visibility, fast‑moving talent function across Australia, helping the leader stay focused on strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a complex executive diary, inbox, travel arrangements and logistics across multiple time zones.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leaders, committees and external stakeholders.
• Anticipate priorities, prepare briefing materials and ensure the Chief Talent Officer is ready for decisions and key moments.
• Produce confidential correspondence, presentations and executive reports.
• Coordinate leadership forums, meetings and follow‑up actions.
• Identify and drive continuous improvements in processes and administrative efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting a senior executive in a large, complex organisation.
• Strong judgement, discretion and the ability to work autonomously.
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail in a high‑volume environment.
• Adaptable, resilient and comfortable navigating change and ambiguity.
