About the role
Mackellar, the mining services contractor for Bravus’ Carmichael Mine, is expanding its team and seeking experienced excavator operators to support ramp‑up production in the Galilee Basin.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months experience operating 400+ tonne large open‑cut mining excavators and large mining dozers
- RII competencies (or verified training transcript within the past 5 years)
- Current Standard 11 and Driver’s Licence
- Strong commitment to safety at all times
- Team‑focused attitude and flexibility to get the job done

What we offer
- $72.05 per hour / $164k per year plus super
- FIFO flights from Townsville, Rockhampton or Cairns
- 7/7 roster with optional overtime on day shift
