Events Executive

About the role

As an Events Executive at Marriott Hotels Brisbane, you will be the primary point of contact for all hotel events, internal functions and social gatherings. You will work closely with the sales team and other departments to deliver seamless experiences that exceed guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute hotel events, banquets and social functions from concept to completion.
• Create detailed Banquet Event Orders tailored to client requirements.
• Collaborate with sales to maximise business leads and secure future bookings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
• Support the hotel’s service strategy by delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Act as the main liaison between guests, internal teams and external suppliers.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a similar events or hospitality role.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
• Enthusiastic about career progression in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑motivated, driven and able to work independently.
