Event Creative

About the role

You’ll play an integral role in developing creative concepts, spatial layouts and presentations for some of Australia’s most iconic events, such as the Australian Open, Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, the Victoria Racing Club Spring Carnival, major exhibitions, corporate events and premium brand activations. Working alongside Creative, Sales and Custom Build teams, you will help bring exceptional event experiences to life through innovative design, furniture styling and creative storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts, mood boards and event design presentations.
• Create floor plans, spatial layouts and SketchUp visualisations.
• Produce AI‑generated renders and presentation material to communicate ideas.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Marketing and Custom Build teams to deliver outstanding event experiences.
• Research and apply emerging trends in event design, furniture and interiors.
• Assist with showroom styling, creative installations and product launches.
• Contribute to the creative direction of recognised events and premium brand experiences.

Required profile

• 3+ years’ experience in the events, exhibition or interiors industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong proficiency in SketchUp.
• Experience creating high‑quality visual presentations and AI‑generated renders.
• Strong understanding of furniture, interiors, styling, colour and spatial planning.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Collaborative, proactive and solutions‑focused attitude.
