About the role

Ertech is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its Wangara office. You will prepare and deliver small to medium-sized civil engineering bids, develop project programmes, and manage the end‑to‑end tender process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, competitive, and timely estimates for civil engineering tenders using first‑principles methodologies.
• Manage tender submissions from pricing and strategy through to final delivery, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and develop effective tender solutions.
• Review tender pricing, risks, opportunities, margins and performance data to ensure commercially sound bids.
• Lead collaboration with Quantity Schedulers and internal teams, building strong relationships across the business.
• Identify and implement innovative improvements to estimating, programming, risk management and tendering processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering.
• 2‑5 years estimating experience in civil construction.
• Minimum 2 years onsite project experience.
• Strong understanding of construction programming, scheduling and tender strategy.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance and hold valid Australian working rights.

• Expert Estimation software proficiency.
• MS Office.
