Estimator

About the role

The Estimator will be based at our head office in Victoria Park, supporting the Engineering Construction division by preparing and submitting competitive tenders and proposals. You will work across the full tender lifecycle, collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, planners, and commercial teams to ensure accurate and commercially sound estimates.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse qualitative and quantitative data for tender inclusion, obtain relevant information, calculate costings and provide advice.
• Provide expert estimating advice and assist in compiling major tenders, proposals and expressions of interest.
• Review tender documentation and calculate costings for submissions.
• Develop and review tenders and proposals for quality, risk, accuracy and completeness, addressing any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Relevant trade qualification or engineering degree.
• On‑site industry experience in resources, engineering or construction with strong understanding of trades, disciplines and construction/maintenance norms.
• Proven experience in the engineering contracting sector serving resources, energy or infrastructure.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
• Self‑motivated, career‑driven with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Required skills

• Advanced use of Microsoft Word.
• Advanced use of Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Professional.
