ESL Teacher – Perth Campus

About the role

Join EF Language Abroad’s Perth campus as an ESL Teacher, delivering immersive General English and Special Interest (SPIN) courses to international learners. You will work closely with the Director of Studies and the Academic department to create engaging, student‑centered lessons.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver dynamic lessons for varied English proficiency levels.
• Inspire language learning through interactive, immersive classroom experiences.
• Track attendance, assess progress and provide regular feedback to students.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment and manage student behavior.
• Promote campus life by encouraging participation in extracurricular activities and cultural events.
• Uphold safeguarding policies and ensure student welfare at all times.
• Engage in continuous professional development and integrate innovative teaching methods and technology.

Required profile

• Full fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking); additional languages are a plus.
• Previous experience teaching English as a Second Language.
• Experience with safeguarding and student welfare procedures.
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Teaching or a related field.
• TESOL qualification (e.g., CELTA or Certificate IV in TESOL).
• Full working rights in Australia and willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check.
