ERZ Controller

About the role

Peabody Energy is looking for ERZ Controllers to join the Centurion underground coal mine in Glenden, Queensland. The role supports safe and efficient production across multiple underground mining methods, including Outbye, Development and Longwall.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out statutory and compliance inspections in line with legislation and the Centurion Safety, Health and Management System (SHMS).
• Ensure teams operate production processes and equipment safely.
• Deliver maintenance schedules according to statutory and site regulations.
• Facilitate crew and shift communication sessions.
• Achieve and drive agreed production targets while maintaining safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong focus on safety and risk management.
• Effective communicator and team player.
• 3rd Class Managers Certificate of Competency or Deputy's Certificate of Competency.
• Competent supervisory skills.
• Holding S1, S2 and S3 certifications and experience in risk investigation.
• Commitment to high performance standards and a flexible work attitude.
