About the role
Join AECOM’s Environmental Impact Assessment team in Sydney to lead assessments for high‑profile transport, renewable energy, water and industrial projects. You will work on landmark initiatives such as Sydney Metro, Western Sydney Airport and Australia’s first offshore wind farm EIS.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver timely, high‑quality environmental impact assessments and related studies.
- Contribute to constraints analyses, strategic planning pathway assessments and environmental management plans.
- Coordinate project resources, budgets and schedules while maintaining quality standards.
- Mentor junior staff and support their technical and professional development.
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, applying commercial acumen and emotional intelligence.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, planning or engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in environmental impact assessments across multiple market sectors.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated project management and organisational abilities.
