Enterprise Transformation Architect – Application Modernisation

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Transformation Architect to lead application modernisation engagements for clients in financial services and other regulated industries. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to assess legacy portfolios, design cloud‑native target architectures and create migration roadmaps.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery and assessment of legacy applications to define modernisation pathways using established frameworks.
• Evaluate inter‑dependencies, data flows and integration patterns to shape migration strategies.
• Design target state architectures that leverage Azure or AWS cloud‑native services and modern integration patterns.
• Create detailed, phased migration roadmaps with risk mitigation and ROI articulation.
• Collaborate with client executives to validate findings, build consensus and produce executive‑ready documentation.

Required profile

• 10+ years of enterprise architecture experience, including large‑scale systems integration and application modernisation.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to C‑level stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience working in consulting or systems‑integration environments.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Azure or AWS services and cloud‑native architecture patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with AI agent development and AI integration in architecture services.
• Experience with Dynamics365, CRM transformation and contact‑centre modernisation (preferred).
• Familiarity with API‑led integration strategies, mainframe modernisation and automated code analysis tools.
