Enrolled Nurse - South Block Medical Unit

About the role

Belmont Hospital is seeking Enrolled Nurses for its 13-bed South Block Medical Unit, offering permanent full-time and part-time positions of up to 38 hours per week. The nurse works alongside a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering patient-centred care. Remuneration is $37.83-$41.10 per hour plus superannuation and salary packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care by assisting patients with personal care and daily living needs, promoting dignity, comfort and independence
• Administer oral, topical, intramuscular and intravenous medications within scope of practice, where authorised, trained and credentialed
• Monitor patient wellbeing through regular observations, recognise changes in clinical condition and escalate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with the team to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care
• Maintain accurate documentation to support safe clinical care
• Support recovery and discharge planning
• Create a positive care experience with colleagues, patients and families

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassion, empathy and respect for patients and families
• Willingness to learn and develop clinical skills
• Australian citizenship, Australian permanent residency or a New Zealand passport; visa sponsorship is not accommodated
