Enrolled Nurse - Part-Time & Casual

About the role

Mitchell House, an aged care facility in Morwell, Victoria, is seeking Enrolled Nurses to join its clinical team on a part-time or casual basis. Working closely with Registered Nurses and care staff, you will support positive clinical outcomes, monitor resident wellbeing and help create a safe, respectful and welcoming environment for person-centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive admission and ongoing resident assessments to support individualised care planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Administer medications safely and keep correct medication records.
• Monitor residents' health and report any changes to Registered Nurses.
• Support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
• Take part in clinical handovers, care planning discussions and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Minimum two years' post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in aged care.
• Current National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Required immunisations and a flexible, professional approach to shift work.

Required skills

• Strong clinical assessment and observation skills.
• Sound understanding of residential aged care practices and clinical documentation.
• Knowledge of aged care standards and commitment to high-quality care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
