About the role

The Enrolled Nurse – Community will join a dynamic team delivering nursing and home‑care services across the North West of Tasmania, primarily in Burnie and Devonport. You will work in community settings, supporting clients to remain at home, avoid unnecessary hospital admissions, and transition safely after discharge.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general and complex nursing care, including hospital‑in‑the‑home and palliative services.
• Deliver wound care such as negative pressure therapy and burns management.
• Manage venous access devices (PIVC & CVAD) and catheters, including indwelling and suprapubic types.
• Administer medication via various routes and support medication management plans.
• Assist clients with personal care, domestic assistance, and home maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• Enrolled Nurse qualification and current registration.
• Willingness to work shift patterns up to 76 hours per fortnight.
• Commitment to delivering client‑centred care in a community environment.

• Negative Pressure Wound Therapy
• Burns Management
• Venous access device management (PIVC & CVAD)
• Indwelling and suprapubic catheter management
• Palliative care, including syringe driver operation
• Medication management across multiple routes
