About the role
Procreate is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a small iOS team in delivering mission‑critical features for its creative software platform. You will balance hands‑on coding with people management, ensuring high‑quality releases while nurturing engineering talent.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate and align engineering functions with product goals and cross‑functional teams.
- Collaborate with design to plan and organise feature development, improving sustainability and efficiency.
- Provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support the professional growth of team members.
- Contribute 40‑60% of your time to hands‑on Swift development and code reviews.
Required profile
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence and a calm, self‑assured leadership style.
- Proven ability to build and manage diverse engineering teams in a tech or start‑up environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.
