Endpoint Platform Engineer

About the role

CSIRO’s Information Management & Technology team is looking for an Endpoint Platform Engineer to support and evolve the organisation’s Windows, macOS and iOS devices. The role focuses on designing, deploying and maintaining secure, modern endpoint solutions that enable scientists and staff to work safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and improve managed endpoint services using Microsoft Intune, Configuration Manager, Group Policy, JAMF Pro and Apple Business Manager.
• Configure enrollment and provisioning workflows such as Windows Autopilot, Apple Automated Device Enrollment and mobile device management profiles.
• Package, test and deploy applications, scripts and self‑service workflows for Windows and macOS devices.
• Manage operating‑system lifecycle activities – upgrades, patching, compliance reporting and remediation.
• Support security compliance, automation initiatives and endpoint engineering across the enterprise.

Required profile

• Proven experience with endpoint management in Windows, macOS and iOS environments.
• Ability to design and implement secure device enrollment and configuration processes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with compliance and remediation workflows.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with geographically dispersed teams.
