Embedded Trainer – Mining Simulator & In‑Cab Coaching

About the role

Immersive Technologies is seeking an Embedded Trainer to join a world‑class iron ore operation in the Pilbara on a 12‑month fixed‑term FIFO roster (8 & 6). You will work on‑site as part of the Managed Services team, using simulation and in‑cab coaching to elevate operator performance in safety, maintenance discipline and production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the site training team to identify workforce needs and deliver targeted development plans.
• Assess operator performance with integrity, providing transparent coaching and feedback.
• Deliver simulation‑based and in‑cab training to build competence on large mining equipment and Autonomous Haulage Systems.
• Leverage data, analytics and technology‑driven insights to improve training effectiveness and validate results.
• Build strong relationships across the site, becoming a trusted member of the training team.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering training in mining operations.
• Strong background operating large mining equipment such as excavators and shovels.
• Ability to train operators on Autonomous Haulage Systems.
• High‑quality communication and coaching skills.
• Commitment to safety, continuous improvement and data‑driven decision making.
