Electrician

About the role

Level Electrical Hume, part of the Level group and operating for 20 years across the ACT and surrounding areas, is looking for a reliable, motivated and qualified electrician. The company covers commercial and residential service, maintenance and small projects such as new fit-outs, switchboard upgrades, extensions, renovations, solar, safety audits and lighting upgrades, including data centre critical power environments. The position is full time, standard 38-hour week, on-site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily jobs through the online job management system and complete service, maintenance and rectification work efficiently.
• Carry out preventative maintenance checks at required sites and complete maintenance and customer reports accurately, using the company laptop or iPad when needed.
• Coordinate materials from wholesalers for on-site installation, escalate breakdowns immediately and communicate variations and quoted works.
• Follow legislative and company WHS procedures and keep all licences, tickets, accreditations and inductions current.
• Supervise and train company apprentices.
• Complete pre-start audits and JSAs before every job, maintain a safe working environment and use the job management system and timesheets accurately.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician preferred; training provided as required.
• Current driver's licence.
• National police check.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
