Electrical & International Projects Teacher

About the role

Chisholm is looking for an experienced, student‑focused teacher to join its Electrical & International Projects team. The role involves delivering vocational training for domestic electrical projects and supporting international project modules across our Dandenong campus.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging learning sessions that meet industry and regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain teaching materials, ensuring compliance with training packages and competency requirements.
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages student responsibility and self‑directed learning.
• Adapt resources and assessments to suit diverse learners, facilities and equipment.
• Perform administrative, coordination and learning services tasks related to the taught areas.
• Assist in the design, review and continuous improvement of teaching programs.
• Uphold a respectful, safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment.

Required profile

• Motivated individual with strong knowledge transfer abilities.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or willingness to obtain it.
• Vocational qualifications at AQF levels 2 and 3.
• Relevant professional registration where required for the discipline.
• Demonstrated record of vocational competency aligned to units of competency.
• Current industry and teaching knowledge (professional currency).
