Education Events Coordinator

About the role

The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) is looking for a dynamic person to coordinate and organise the delivery of regional education events and workshops supporting rural healthcare in Tasmania. The role covers the coordination and administration of education programs, events and workshops, and does not involve delivering training or facilitating education sessions. It is based in Launceston and the North East of Tasmania.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate regional education programs, workshops and events, including scheduling, logistics, registrations and stakeholder communications.
• Provide hands-on and administrative support for the planning and delivery of regional training and education activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in event coordination, logistics, education program administration, workshop coordination or a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong organisational, planning and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently, show initiative and take a hands-on approach, including workshop setup and pack-down, equipment and resource maintenance and event logistics.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using learning management systems (LMS) and databases.
