Education Assistant – Mainstream

About the role

We are looking for a Mainstream Education Assistant to join Balingup Primary School. In this position you will support teachers in delivering planned education programs and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment for our students.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers with the implementation of individual and small‑group learning activities.
• Prepare and maintain classroom resources and learning spaces.
• Support the health, safety and well‑being of students throughout the school day.
• Manage student behaviour in line with school policies and programmes.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of learners.

Required profile

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal abilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Organised, proactive and able to work under teacher direction.
• Commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
