Early Childhood Teacher (Part-Time, Fridays)

About the role

BFS Children's Services is looking for an Early Childhood Teacher for its Picton Community Preschool, an 'Exceeding NQS' rated service serving the local community since 1971. The role is part-time, on Fridays at 6 hours per week, and involves creating happy, healthy relationships between children and their families while bringing fun, laughter and play to each day.

Key responsibilities

• Provide quality education and care to all children
• Contribute to planning educational programs that support a child's learning and help them meet their goals
• Build strong relationships with children, families and the community

Required profile

• A cleared valid NSW Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
• A cleared National Criminal Record Check
• Commitment to protecting children from abuse, harm and neglect
• Commitment to cultural safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training Foundation Course
• Details of at least two referees, one of whom must be a manager or supervisor at your current or most recent workplace
