About the role

Eden Academy Ellen Grove is launching a new early learning centre and is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join the team. You will work in a safe, nurturing environment that offers natural indoor and outdoor play spaces for up to 85 children.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality care and learning experiences that support each child’s development.
• Design and implement engaging, age‑appropriate programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Foster meaningful conversations and thought‑provoking activities that inspire curiosity.
• Promote school readiness by guiding children toward independence and resilience.
• Build strong relationships with families and the local community.

Required profile

• Passionate about early education and experienced in delivering quality care.
• Committed to inclusive, nurturing environments where every child feels seen.
• Professional, polished presence with a warm, approachable demeanor.
• Available to work Monday‑Friday, five days a week.
• Full Australian working rights and two professional references (one from a childcare or education manager).

Required skills

• Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA‑approved equivalent.
• Current Teacher’s Registration.
• Valid Working with Children Check.
• Solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
