Early Childhood Educator

About the role

Join Goodstart Cairns as an Early Childhood Educator and help provide the best start to a child’s life. You will work closely with Senior Educators and the Educational Leader to design and deliver high‑quality learning experiences for children from 6 weeks to Kindergarten.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate age‑appropriate learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for all children.
• Collaborate with team members to continuously improve curriculum and classroom practices.
• Observe and document children’s progress and communicate insights to families.
• Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards and centre policies.

Required profile

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
• Current Queensland Working with Children Check.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training.
