Early Childhood Educator (Full-time)

About the role

Join a supportive team at Nido Early Schools where you’ll receive dedicated mentorship from the Lead Educator, Early Childhood Teacher, and leadership team. This full‑time, flexible‑shift position offers a collaborative environment focused on delivering high‑quality early learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate daily care routines and programmes for individual children or groups.
• Build meaningful, trusting, and respectful relationships with children, families and caregivers.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play‑based learning aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent educational practices across the service.

Required profile

• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood (or be working towards one); Certificate III will not be considered.
• Available to work five days a week on a full‑time basis.
• Minimum 12 months experience as an Educator in a childcare setting.
• Valid Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
• Current First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to plan play‑based programmes.
• Confidence in collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child’s individual needs.
