Driver Trainer – Safety & Compliance (NSW)

About the role

Supagas is looking for a motivated Driver Trainer to deliver safety‑focused, compliance‑driven training to its driver workforce across New South Wales. Based in Sydney, the role is primarily field‑based and offers autonomy to plan and manage your own schedule while working closely with the Learning & Development Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and assess training programmes for new and existing drivers, ensuring safety and operational compliance.
• Review and update training materials in line with legislative, operational and industry changes.
• Conduct training needs analyses and design tailored learning solutions to close skill gaps.
• Maintain training documentation, competency profiles and monitor employee progress.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to promote continuous learning and operational improvement.
• Track and report training outcomes in the LMS, ensuring data accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering driver training, preferably in transport or related industries.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or working towards it).
• HR Driver Licence; MC Driver Licence is highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
