Driver I

About the role

Cencora is looking for a Driver I who supports the timely, secure and compliant movement of materials, products and temperature-sensitive shipments across assigned routes. The role covers pickup, delivery and basic shipment handling, keeping records and communicating status or exceptions so that operations stay continuous.

Key responsibilities

• Execute pickups and deliveries according to timing, handling and documentation requirements.
• Verify shipment details, obtain required signatures or proof of delivery and keep accurate transport records.
• Transport materials, products and medical samples following route plans, temperature controls and applicable regulations.
• Report delivery status, delays and shipment exceptions to resolve issues quickly.
• Support loading, unloading, packaging and labelling to protect shipment integrity.
• Monitor vehicle condition and packaging supplies, escalating maintenance needs or stock shortages.
• Support specialised transport such as transfer-point, airport, hand-to-hand and adjusted schedule assignments when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Less than 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, courier operations, delivery services or a related field.
• Certification in dangerous goods awareness, vehicle-class operation licence, cold chain handling or equivalent.
