Domestic Assistant - Mandurah and surrounds

About the role

Silverchain is recruiting Domestic Assistants for a casual role in Mandurah and the surrounding area, mainly Monday to Friday between 8am and 4pm. The role offers ongoing regular shifts, with the possibility of becoming permanent after three months depending on performance and business needs. Applicants must live in Coodanup, Dudley Park, Erskine or Mandurah.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients to maintain independence through domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support.
• Travel between clients' homes and follow a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app.
• Provide high-quality support that promotes client independence.
• Deliver domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks.
• Prepare meals and support clients with basic nutrition needs.
• Provide social support and help clients stay engaged in their community.

Required profile

• 3-6 months of domestic or industrial cleaning experience.
• A valid driver's licence with unrestricted access to a registered, properly insured and in good condition vehicle.
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home and following a digital schedule and care plan.
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
