Dispute Resolution Specialist

About the role

This full‑time, hybrid position is part of QBE’s Internal Dispute Resolution team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will manage end‑to‑end complaints and disputes across all General Insurance products, ensuring fair outcomes for customers while complying with relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate responses to all complaints and disputes, delivering fair outcomes.
• Identify systemic causes of customer dissatisfaction and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Offer subject‑matter expertise on the General Insurance Code of Practice and the Insurance Contracts Act.
• Ensure organisational compliance with legal and code obligations when handling disputes.
• Prepare recommendations for process, product, and service improvements to reduce recurrence of issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience in dispute resolution within the insurance sector.
• Strong practical knowledge of general insurance principles.
• Solid understanding of risk, compliance, and policy frameworks.
• Commitment to delivering gold‑standard service to customers and stakeholders.
• Solution‑focused mindset with excellent problem‑solving and relationship‑building abilities.
