Dispute Resolution Solicitor (2-4 yrs PQE) – Perth

About the role

Mallesons is seeking a Solicitor with 2‑4 years post‑qualification experience to join its Dispute Resolution team in Perth. Working under Partner James Wang, you will handle high‑profile litigation and advisory matters across a range of commercial disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory advice and conduct litigation on shareholder and board disputes, director/officer duties, property and corporate disputes.
• Manage complex contractual, environmental, heritage, scheme of arrangement and defamation matters.
• Draft pleadings, submissions, witness statements, affidavits and other court documents.
• Assist clients in resolving disputes through contested or negotiated processes.
• Support and develop client relationships and contribute to team collaboration.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years PQE with a strong litigation background.
• Excellent analytical, communication and research abilities.
• Strong commitment to client service and relationship management.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to build internal relationships.
• Willingness to adopt new technologies, including AI‑enabled legal tools.
