Disability Support Worker

About the role

HelpAlong supports people to live with independence, dignity and choice, and is seeking experienced support workers to support clients in SIL accommodation in Morayfield, Burpengary, Rothwell and surrounding suburbs. Shifts are generally 8 hours long, regular and consistent, including sleepovers, and candidates receive paid training with certifications.

Key responsibilities

• Personal care, including manual handling support
• Behaviour reporting and support plan implementation
• Medication administration
• Domestic assistance, including meal preparation, cleaning and routines

Required profile

• Certificate III in Individual Support or similar
• Previous disability support experience
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current driver's licence and own vehicle
• Able to maintain professional boundaries and follow company protocols
• Confident with documentation and incident reporting
• Flexible to fit around lifestyle, with regular, consistent rosters

People with Enrolled Nurse or enteral feeding experience are encouraged to apply. The role is advertised as temporary.
