About the role
The Director will join a well‑capitalised fund manager’s investment team, focusing on private credit opportunities within the natural resources sector across Australia.
Key responsibilities
- Source, evaluate and execute senior to junior debt investment opportunities.
- Lead complex transactions from initial assessment through execution and ongoing management.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, negotiate transaction terms and develop investment recommendations.
- Oversee portfolio performance and contribute to overall investment strategy.
- Provide leadership, mentorship and governance to junior team members.
Required profile
- Senior leadership experience in private credit or debt investment.
- Strong commercial judgement, financial analysis and disciplined risk management.
- Ability to navigate diverse commercial situations and balance risk‑return considerations.
- Proven track record of building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
