About the role

The Director, Security Solutions Architecture, APJC leads Splunk's Security Solutions Architecture organization across the APJC region, shaping technical strategy and driving growth for the combined Splunk and Cisco security portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a distributed team of senior Security Solutions Architects across multiple APJC markets, fostering autonomy and impact.
• Own and translate the regional technical strategy for Splunk Security, aligning global priorities with market opportunities.
• Partner with Account Solutions Engineers to provide deep security expertise, architectural guidance, and influence on complex customer engagements.
• Shape strategic customer engagements with CISOs and senior technology leaders on security transformation, SOC modernization, and AI‑driven operations.
• Develop repeatable architectures, technical plays, and enablement programs to scale field effectiveness.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, technical sales or solutions architecture.
• Significant people‑leadership experience managing senior technical professionals across multiple countries.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into technical execution and measurable commercial outcomes.
• Experience engaging senior executives (CISO, CIO) on complex security transformation initiatives.

Required skills

• Enterprise security architecture and security operations knowledge.
• SIEM, SOC modernization, threat detection and response.
• Security analytics, automation, and AI/agentic technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with Splunk Security products and Cisco security portfolio.
