About the role
The Director of Microsoft Engineering will lead high‑performing teams to deliver Azure‑based cloud security solutions, driving business growth and supporting customers on their digital transformation journeys.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of empowerment, collaboration and accountability.
- Define and execute the future direction of Azure cloud security offerings, adopting emerging technologies and frameworks.
- Drive regional business growth, meet financial targets and optimise team capacity.
- Support sales and presales on Microsoft Azure opportunities and deliver innovative solutions.
- Build strong partnerships with customers, Microsoft and internal stakeholders.
Required profile
- Australian citizenship with ability to obtain an Australian Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proven leadership experience inspiring and mentoring teams.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and commercial acumen.
Required skills
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure ecosystem, enterprise landing zones and well‑architected frameworks.
- Experience with data platforms and cloud‑native solutions.
- Ability to develop productised service offerings, automation workflows and marketplace solutions.
