Director, Global Security APAC/China Lead

About the role

The Director, Global Security APAC/China Lead will provide senior leadership for security strategy, operations, and risk management across the Asia‑Pacific region, including China. Reporting to global security leadership, the role safeguards employees, assets, products, and information while supporting business growth in diverse markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the APAC and China security strategy aligned with global objectives and business priorities.
• Oversee physical security, travel security, crisis management, and incident response across all APAC locations.
• Lead intelligence gathering and risk assessment to mitigate geopolitical, operational, and site‑specific threats.
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure a safe operating environment.
• Drive continuous improvement of security processes, policies, and training programs.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in security, risk management, or related fields within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical and operational risks in the Asia‑Pacific region.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic initiatives.
