Digital Sales Representative – Server & Storage

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Digital Sales Representative to focus on Server and Storage solutions for Federal Government Agencies and Defence in Canberra. This early‑careers opportunity is based onsite at an HPE office and offers a pathway into the tech industry.

Key responsibilities

• Sell server, storage and related technology solutions to assigned accounts.
• Develop account plans, forecast sales pipeline and create quota forecasts.
• Generate, qualify and review new leads, often working with field sales or partners.
• Understand client requirements and position HPE’s portfolio competitively.
• Lead strategic selling activities and provide coaching to team members.

Required profile

• 1+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in the tech industry.
• Australian citizenship with baseline security clearance.
• Experience in B2B sales or account management.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Exposure to sales or account management – B2B preferred.
• Knowledge of IT and industry solutions, products and services.
• Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management systems, especially Salesforce.
• Strategic (farmer) selling approach.
