Digital Engagement Officer

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Digital Engagement Officer to drive member interaction across our digital channels. Reporting to the Director of Campaigns and Communications, you will help the CPSU enhance its online presence and support campaign objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop opportunities to improve digital engagement in collaboration with union staff.
• Produce and publish engaging content for social media, website and email platforms.
• Manage CPSU social media accounts, responding to comments and messages promptly and professionally.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices, and advise on digital strategy.
• Analyse engagement metrics, report findings to teams and senior leadership, and recommend improvements.
• Support graphic design, video production, content writing and website updates as required.

Required profile

• Strong relationship‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent organisational, project and time‑management skills.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on identifying new digital opportunities.
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
• Familiarity with website and email communication tools.
