About the role

We are seeking a Digital Developer to design, build, and scale a high‑performance WordPress marketplace platform for a leading organisation in the building and construction sector. You will own the technical delivery while collaborating closely with senior leadership to shape product direction.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain a scalable WordPress VIP architecture.
• Build custom marketplace functionality, workflows, and Gutenberg components.
• Develop optimized plugins and themes, ensuring clean, maintainable code.
• Improve frontend performance, site speed, and Core Web Vitals across all pages.
• Translate product roadmap into robust technical solutions.
• Maintain code quality, documentation standards, and debugging processes.
• Collaborate with leadership on product strategy and direction.

Required profile

• 4+ years of full‑stack WordPress development experience.
• Strong experience with the WordPress VIP platform.
• Deep technical expertise across the full stack.
• Ability to write clean, structured, and maintainable code.
• Advanced knowledge of performance optimisation.
• Proven experience building custom plugins and themes.
• Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.
