Digital Delivery Manager – Transmission & Distribution

About the role

The Digital Delivery Manager will lead digital transformation for AECOM’s Transmission & Distribution energy team across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the ANZ T&D Sector Director, you will combine strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery on large, multidisciplinary energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Drive adoption of standardized digital delivery workflows, governance frameworks and toolkits across the ANZ T&D sector.
• Plan, mobilise and deliver digital functions for a portfolio of energy projects, from regional sites to multi‑region programmes.
• Establish and oversee Common Data Environments (CDEs) and digital systems to ensure efficient, compliant project delivery.
• Build and mentor high‑performing digital delivery teams, including resource planning and capability development.
• Manage digital delivery risks, budgets and scope changes while ensuring compliance with client and project requirements.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in digital delivery, digital engineering, information management or related fields.
• Proven senior leadership on at least two large‑scale multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to influence clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Experience in the energy, transmission & distribution or broader infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.

• Digital delivery platforms and CDEs (e.g., ProjectWise).
• BIM and digital engineering processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 and related information management standards.
• Systems and governance expertise for digital environments.
